I have been really liking the album by the English artist Plan B, The Defamation of Strickland Banks this month. Now, his music is not normally my kinda thing but I got interested in the music by the great music videos by Daniel Wolfe, www.partizan.com. I love that Plan B has used the same director for subsequent video clips which presents, in my opinion, a better body of work for both the artist and the director. Something that I would like to see more of. But do I like the music just because of the videos? Hmm maybe, but I do find myself singing some of the lyrics at random times so???

The new Ricky Gervais series, well it is really a Karl Pilkington series, has started on TV. I have seen the first episode, not bad but hopefully will get better, however, the promos are excellent. It really does show how to get the audience interested in a series, watch them on you tube here, www.youtube.com.

Dawn Tan is an Australian artist still at college doing some nice work. If I had the money and space I would probably look at buying her whole series of wearable soft sculptures. Her illustrations are really quite nice as well and it will be interesting to see what her future work will be. www.dawn-tan.com.

TRAVEL DESTINATION
Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia is somewhere that I had never heard of or seen until this week and then I saw the images on a travel show, holy cow. I so want to go there now, and maybe a cruise on the med as well. Check the wikipedia page out here www.wikipedia.org.
